World Archive

When the time controller of the Helios Tower was broken, it opened up a path to the Victoria Island of the past. A proper town has yet to be built in this time, so the people live in a makeshift encampment and are led by an elf named Athena Pierce.

Ellin Forest is a theme dungeon in Ossyria's Ludus Lake region. Time has stopped in the Toy Castle of Ludibrium and the Clocktower to preserve the innocence of childhood. However, one of the towers started malfunctioning and it's allowing people to slip through time... to the past! Let's head on over to Helios Tower to go on a mysterious journey through time.

This region can be accessed on foot via Helios Tower's Time Control Room near Ludibrium, as well as via the Danger Zone Taxi in El Nath and Ludibrium for 45,000 Mesos. It is surrounded by the Mossy Tree Forest to the west and the Fairy Forest to the east. The monsters consist of past versions of Victoria Island monsters. A couple of bosses can be encountered during the questline: Chao, a scarred Primitive Boar that can only be fought during the questline who is the most violent of all boars, and Ephenia, the queen of the fairies who serves as the final boss.

Completing the questline will reward the Medal  Ellin Forest Guardian. The boss Ephenia can drop the Rings  Ephenia's Ring and  Fairy Queen's Ring.

An Alliance member was called to Helios Library by Wiz, who revealed that he had found a book about Ellin Forest that described someone with the traveler's exact appearance centuries ago. In order to investigate, the traveler entered a crack in time within Ludibrium, which had suddenly appeared with the Time Control Room mysteriously breaking down, though Wiz warned them that the history could never be changed. In Ellin Forest of the past, the traveler met with Athena Pierce, who was able to perceive that the traveler came from the future. Athena explained that the people of Altaire Camp had been working to find a new home after crash-landing on Victoria Island.

The Alliance member decided to help the refugees and began working with the great pirate Destonen and his family, Tess and Yuris, to settle Ellin Forest. They soon discovered that Ephenia the Fairy Queen had grown hostile towards humans, for which she was planning to wipe them out. The Alliance member defeated Ephenia, causing the book about Ellin Forest to change in order to record the event. They soon read that Destonen was going to be killed after stumbling across a mysterious tent, and in order to save him, they rushed after him and stopped him right outside the tent, warning them not to enter. After returning to the present, however, they were surprised to learn that Destonen had entered the tent anyways, believing that investigating it was necessary to protect his family and the other refugees. Back in Helios Library, Wiz revealed that though they may have believed that they had changed to future by killing Ephenia, that event had always been meant to be, as the laws of the world made it so that time physically could not be altered from its predestined fate.

Trivia

• During the first part of Jump! / Ascension Update in KoreaMS, Ellin Forest was changed into a Party Play Zone where players received 50% additional experience per party member. The monsters were Level 96 - 104 at the time (previously 76 - 84). However, the monster stats were nerfed to have regular HP and EXP as of the second part of the Jump! / Ascension Update, due to an expansion of Monster Park which served as a new Party Play Zone.
  • This change was never released outside of KoreaMS.
