Alishan was an area created by TaiwanMS for players Level 33 and above, based on the real-life area in Taiwan of the same name. It consisted a storyline where players would ride a train to the summit to liberate the forest guardian Shao from the control of a Dark Master. It also contained a coin shop with daily quests, allowing players to obtain a chair based on the train, totems, and a medal. It was in TaiwanMS, JapanMS, ChinaMS, GlobalMS, and MapleSEA, but it has been removed from all servers.
