The Maple Coin Exchange was a feature introduced during the Dreamer Update. Due to the removal of Ursus in non-GMS servers, Maple Coins were added as rewards from various content (excluding CMS), such as Epic Dungeons and Azmoth Chasm. These coins could be brought to the Trader via the Quick Move UI or in the Free Market Entrance, along with Maple Points to obtain a certain amount of Mesos based on the Coin, with the prices fluctuating every day.

It was available in KoreaMS, JapanMS, MapleSEA, and TaiwanMS. KoreaMS removed Azmoth Chasm and the Maple Coin Exchange during the Crown Update due to it having massive impacts on the in-game economy. With its removal, Epic Dungeons were changed to reward Selazar Coins instead, granting a fixed amount of Mesos; similarly, MAPLE Daily Gift rewards were changed to Cubes and other rewards instead. Other servers replaced Maple Coins in the Crown Update accordingly. As of the Post-Crown Update, Maple Coin Exchange is completely disabled, and the Trader NPC was removed.
