Kerning Square (JMS) was an alternate version of the original Kerning Square. Instead of helping Blake the Subway Worker become a music star, JapanMS had an alternate storyline where you aided a couple, Fiancée and Darling. Rumors circulate that after a man in black traveled to Kerning Square, monsters in the area suddenly became hostile towards couples. Jake asks you to rescue any couples that were still trapped at Kerning Square. Upon heading to the lobby, Fiancée would ask you to rescue her fiance Darling, who was captured by the bubble tea monsters of Kerning Square. After you rescue him from the leader of the bubble tea monsters, Brother Bubble Tea, and secure various items, you would eventually have to defeat the ジェラシーロッカー (Jealousy Rocker, also known as the Spirit of Rock), a spirit formed by the condensed jealousy of soloists. Afterward, Fiancée and Darling invite you to their wedding as the story concludes. This version of Kerning Square was removed from JapanMS as of the You & I / Rising Heroes Update.
