Corsair or Captain is an Explorer Pirate released during the v.62[2] Update. Their second job is Gunslinger, their third job is Outlaw (Valkyrie in other versions), and their fourth job is Corsair (Captain in other versions). Upon completing the 2nd Job Advancement at Level 30, an Explorer Pirate can choose to become a Gunslinger.
Corsair consumes Bullets and receives an attack boost from the first bullet in Use Inventory.

Trivia
- Corsair was the first class that could attack while riding a mount (only the battleship), before this was revamped in MapleStory: RED.
- If another Explorer in the same world has not advanced to 4th job yet, completing additional quests is required to advance to 3rd and 4th jobs.
